How to overhaul the driving and driven bevel gears of the main reducer?
The driving and driven bevel gears of the main reducer are an important pair of gears in the drive axle transmission device, and the transmission accuracy is required to be high, so it must be assembled, adjusted and maintained according to the specified requirements.
Check the contents of the final drive gear pair as follows.
1) If pitting occurs on the working surface of the gear and black spots appear locally, if the spot distribution area does not exceed 30% of the tooth surface, it can continue to be used.
2) When the driving and driven gears have severe fatigue pitting and local spalling, if the damaged part does not exceed 1/3 of the tooth height. 1/10 of the tooth length, the number of damaged teeth: no more than 2 driving gears (and not adjacent), no more than 4 driven gears, no more than 2 adjacent gears, the damaged parts can be polished and continue to be used. If the above requirements are exceeded, new parts should be replaced in pairs.
3) If the thread of the shaft end of the driving gear shaft is damaged by no more than 2 teeth, it can continue to be used. If there are more than 2 teeth, it is necessary to weld and rework the thread, or reduce the thread diameter by one level and equip with a nut.
When the journal wear of the active gear bearing exceeds 0.04mm, the journal can be repaired by brush plating.
When the front spline of the driving gear shaft wears more than 0.20mm, it can be used with a new flange to reduce the gap, or reprocessed after surfacing.
The surface of the driving and driven gears is worn, and when the tooth thickness direction exceeds 0.40mm, new gears need to be replaced.
When individual tooth parts are broken and not adjacent, it is allowed to grind and reuse after surfacing.
8) When the flange of the driven gear and the driven gear shaft or the fastening bolt holes of the differential case are worn due to looseness, the bolt holes can be reamed and hinged with enlarged special bolts; if the rivets are loose, If the holes are worn out, they also need to be equipped with rivets one by one after reaming, and then re-riveted.
